How many times have you been underestimated in your life? And how many times have you been held back because of it? I read this amazing quote somewhere that said,

Most people take the limits of their vision to be the limits of the world. Few do not. Join them.

If all the great inventors in the world believed in limitations, we'd still be living in the stone age. It takes someone to doubt the impossibilities to create  a breakthrough. Someone had to believe that men could sail across continents, fly around the world or go to the moon. Most people at that time called them crazy for believing in such things. Today, we consider their ideas revolutionary and consider them to be some of the greatest human beings to walk on Earth. We study their work.

But the people during their time never understood their ideas, called them freaks, labelled them weird and laughed at them. It was the limit of the vision of most people back then, certainly not the limit of their capabilities.

Now, let's look at the matter on a more individual level. If you walk up to someone and tell them "I'm going to be really successful someday, create something great and change the world". How do you think most people would react? They'll shrug you off as delusional. And if you point out that many visionaries like Bill Gates, Mark Zuckerberg, Steve Jobs had done it, they'll tell you that they were just exceptions.

But who are they to tell that you cannot be exceptional? Who are they to label you as average? Do not let their limit of vision to be your limit of achievement.

Sure, it seems impossible today. But it all seems impossible until it's done. So have faith, and dream big. Because you cannot achieve what you cannot imagine.

Trust your vision, and work on it, no matter how impossible it seems today.
